It’s coming up to the end of the year, so I thought it was time to start looking forward to the year ahead, and one of the ways to do this is to sign up for various challenges! One challenge that I think looks particularly fun is the British Books Challenge, which is being run by Chelley Toy this year. You can also read the original sign-up post here, and by signing up you could be in with the chance of winning a £25 Foyles gift voucher.
I’m not sure exactly which books I want to read for the challenge across the entire year, as I’d probably like to read some recent releases, and I don’t want to commit myself too far in advance when I don’t even know about what’s being released when. I’ve chosen a couple of books for the first few months, and will update this as I go along.
- January – Wing Jones by Katherine Webber
- February – Unconventional by Maggie Harcourt
- March – Ink by Alice Broadway
- April –
- May –
- June –
- July –
- August –
- September –
- October –
- November –
- December –
These might be subject to change if I don’t have time to go buy a copy of a recent release or find another book that takes my fancy, but these are what I have in mind so far. Keep checking back, as I will be posting reviews and linking to this post throughout the year.
