I’m excited to be doing the Social Media Tag on my blog today – a big thank you to Bex for tagging me a long while back! While this isn’t technically bookish, as it’s based around social media (haha what a coincidence!), I’ve gotten to talk about lots of bloggers, and I’ve been selecting bookish people – so there is still plenty of bookish love to be found here, and I would recommend all the blogs I’m linking to.

Blogger Recognition Award
I was delighted to spot about a month or so ago (I’m terrible at doing tags in a timely fashion!) that my lovely friend Steph from A Little But A Lot had tagged me in the Blogger Recognition Award, and my WordPress hadn’t notified me that she’d linked to my blog! Eventually I realised, as I saw that the post was a referrer to my blog, so I knew that I had to the award – it always feels like such an honour to be thought of by a blogger friend for something like that.
May Wrap Up & June TBR
So compared to last month, this month has been nowhere near as good a month for reading as April – my last wrap up got quite a lot of responses because I managed to read 24 books. Even though I only managed about half of that this month, I am still really pleased with my reading for this month considering that I’ve been doing a lot of studying as well.
April Wrap Up & May TBR
I have been so pleased with this month, and was really looking forward to sharing all the exciting things I’ve done – there’s been lots of interesting content up on my blog, there have been loads of great ones in the community, and I’ve done so much reading! So, without further ado, on to the wrap up.
The Book Blogger Award Nominations

Credits to Joce for this image!
Joce from Write Through the Night announced at the beginning of this month that she was holding a set of book blogger awards, to celebrate book bloggers as awards so often tend to be for fashion and lifestyle bloggers. I thought this was wonderful, and such a positive thing to do for the community, so I knew I wanted to make some nominations! I also wanted to say thank you to Joce for nominating me for Best Book Reviews, it made my day. You can find out more information here, from what the categories are to how you can nominate.
I Dare You Book Tag
I was very happy to be tagged by my sister, Bex from My Shelf and Myself, in the I Dare You book tag about three months ago (I’m terrible at doing tags quickly!), and so now I have a lot of questions and answers to be sharing. The rules are:
- You must be honest
- You can’t not answer a question
- You have to tag at least four people
And here are all of my answers . . .
March Wrap Up & April TBR
And wow, we are onto April! The year’s going so fast, and I’m slightly in disbelief that we’re already a quarter of the way through 2017.
Last month, I managed to read 16 books, 9 of which were from my TBR for last month, which I was pleased with. These books were:
