The School Book Tag

When I saw that Eve from Twist in the Taile (a really awesome blog, by the way, which you should definitely check out) had done this tag and left it open for others to do as well, I knew I definitely wanted to do it at some point. It looked like a lot of fun, and definitely worth trying out. The original creator of the tag was Chloe from Diary of a Lonely Girl, so have a look at the original if you want.

Blogger Recognition Award

I was delighted to spot about a month or so ago (I’m terrible at doing tags in a timely fashion!) that my lovely friend Steph from A Little But A Lot had tagged me in the Blogger Recognition Award, and my WordPress hadn’t notified me that she’d linked to my blog! The Black Cat Blue Sea Award

I was nominated by Lia from Lost in a Story for the Black Cat Blue Sea Award, which I am very excited to be doing on my blog today! It always means a lot to be nominated by another blogger for something – especially for an award as lovely as this one – so I’d like to say a big thank you to Lia (and say sorry for not doing it sooner as she nominated me three months ago . . .). Lia is also the brain behind Short Story Society, and I would definitely recommend checking out some of her creative writing as well as her blog posts.

“This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it, and it doesn’t mean that they must have hundreds of followers and likes.”

GUEST POST: A Monster Calls Movie Talk & Trailer Reaction

Hey there! It’s Eve @ Twist in the Taile here, presenting to you today many flailings about A Monster Calls. And of course thanks so much to Jess for asking me to write a guest post. I feel very honoured and ~bloggery~. *nods*

Okay, I know this movie is technically released on New Year’s Day, but it still counts as Christmas-related, right?! I mean, yes, obviously, because a) I am always right, ahem, and b) WHAT COULD BE A BETTER PRESENT THAN A NEW COOL MOVIE BASED ON A COOL BOOK.
